Novmega nView

Welcome to your training for Novmega nView.

Novmega nView allows you to inspect the content rendered for your digital signage in real-time.

In cases where an interactive display or kiosk is involved, you may also be able to remotely interact with the signage.

Requirements

A browser, we recommend Chrome.
Windows, Mac OSX, Linux, Android, iOS.

This training is for a web browser running on Windows, Mac OSX, or Linux.

How do I get started?

Using a web browser, go to: http://view.novmega.com

If you are reading this, you should also have received a login and password to use.

If you have problems with logging in, please Contact Us.

After logging in, you will be greeted with a dashboard in which:

Your signage devices are grouped. Select the group you want.
Single click on the device to select it. Double-click on the device to connect to it. You can also see the up-time status of your device here.
You can also click on the "Join" button to connect to the device.
A picture is of the rendered content is captured on a regular basis.
You can click on "Refresh" button to update the captured picture.

What happens when I connect to a device?

Options will be presented to you one-by-one to install or launch an application.

Depending on your organization's security constraints on your computer, you may have to try one after another until you find one that works for you.

If none of these options seem to work, please ask your help desk and / or Contact Us.

Usually, an executable file or launcher will be downloaded by your browser that you can try to see if it works.
If that option does not work, you can click to "Try next option"

Here, you can see a 2nd executable file downloaded by your browser that you can try to see if it works.
If that option does not work, you can click to "Try next option"

The next option is similar and downloads a launcher you can try.

Here are the complete list of options, for Windows, for example. The options for each operating system will differ.

I'm connected! Now what?

You can resize the window by simply dragging the corners or you can also use the controls at the top.
You can also move the window around by dragging it in between where it says "Novmega" in the top left and the top controls.
Remember to keep the time you are remotely viewing to a minimum so that you minimize any performance impact that may be occurring. You can do this by closing the window.

Other Interface Options

Click on your profile circle to:
Change your password.
Logout.
